Grown Up's Parties

Throw yourself a birthday party that's both fun and creative or celebrate a special occasion like a hen do or baby shower in style.

Gather your friends and family and celebrate your special day with a creative and fun activity! You can enjoy a relaxed and social atmosphere while painting beautiful works of art. We'll be here to guide you step by step, whether you're an experienced artist or a beginner looking to explore your creative side, and provide all the materials you need to create a unique pottery piece that you can take home and treasure forever.

How does a Grown Up's party work when the studio is open?

  • Decided on a date

  • Chose from a start time of 10am, 12pm & 2pm. We are also open for grown up parties on select Thursday evenings at 7pm.

  • Drop us a message, or give us a ring to check avaliability.

  • Your party will last 2 hours.

  • Maximum party guests is 12 and the party will take place during studio opening hours.

  • Arrive 5 mins before your chosen time on the day of your party.

  • We help your guests choose a piece of pottery to paint.

  • We explain how to paint your pieces.

  • If you'd like to bring a cake & drinks with you, you can have them at your table while you paint. You can also choose to purchase drinks and cake from Baytree's on site coffee shop to have in the studio.

  • Collect your glazed and fired party pieces to distribute to your guests a week later or you can ask them to pop in to the studio to collect their own

 

​How much does a Grown Up's party cost?

It's really up to you! You can choose to either

  • Set a budget per person, and pay for everything yourself.

  • or Let guests choose their own pieces and pay for themselves.

Private Hire Pottery Painting parties

For a party of between 12 and 60 guests you an have sole use of the studio.

​

  • You get the studio for 3 hours giving you time to set up any decorations before your party starts.

  • Your welcome to bring food & drink to enjoy while you paint

  • Your party will last 2 hours.

  • There is a hire fee of £95

  • On the day either set a budget per person, and pay for everything yourself or let guests choose their own pieces and pay for themselves.

  • We take a £30 deposit at the time of booking.

Paint, brushes and paint charts

Take away pottery painting parties

 

Host your own party for your guests to paint at their leisure. You can borrow everything you need, along with your chosen selection of pottery, to take home and paint.

 

After your party you need to return your finished items to us to go in the kiln, then collect your fired masterpieces a week later.

​

How does a takeaway party work?

  • Give us a ring, or send us an email to discuss when you'd like to collect your takeaway kit.

  • Pop into the studio to choose the pottery you'd like.

  • Take home your pottery and our party box filled with everything you need to decorate your pieces.

  • There is no set price, just pay for the items you choose.

  • Return your painted items along with your takeaway kit.

  • Collect your glazed and fired party pieces to distribute to your guests a week later.
