Our fun and creative birthday parties are suitable for all ages. You can choose to hold your party in the studio, or at home with one of our takeaway party kits.

Studio Pottery Painting birthday parties

We hold pottery painting birthday parties in our studio during opening hours. Each painter gets to choose what they'd like to paint and the birthday child gets a plate with their handprint and their guests fingerprints on too as a present from us.

How does a studio party work?

Decided on a date
Our parties are held at 10am, 12pm & 2pm at weekends.
They last 1 1/2 hours.
Book your party online here
Arrive 5 mins before your chosen time on the day of your party.
You will have a special party table decorated with balloons and your own set of paints to use.
We help your guests choose a piece of pottery to paint from our party range.
We explain how to paint your pieces.
We capture the hand & fingerprints for the birthday plate.
If you'd like to bring a cake & drinks with you, you can have them at your table when you've finished painting.
Collect your glazed and fired party pieces to distribute to your guests a week later.

The cost is £160 for up to 10 painters, or £225 for between 10 and 15 painters. Please contact us if you would like more than 15 painters.

We take a £30 deposit at the time of booking and the balance is paid on the day of the party.

We only have space for 2 adults to stay for the party.

Studio Foam Clay birthday parties

Just like out pottery painting birthday parties, we hold our foam clay parties in our studio during opening hours.

What is foam clay & why choose a foam clay party?

Foam Clay is a lightweight, squidgy material that is easy to mould and shape
It easily coats and covers our pottery
It's also perfect for sculpturing, shaping & modelling meaning you can customise your pieces too.
Foam clay is fun, bright, non toxic and mess free
Your creations can be taken home the same day as the foam clay air dries
You can be as creative as you like, the possibilities are endless!

Take away pottery painting parties

Host your own party for your guests to paint at their leisure. You can borrow everything you need, along with your chosen selection of pottery, to take home and paint.

After your party you need to return your finished items to us to go in the kiln, then collect your fired masterpieces a week later.

How does a takeaway party work?

Give us a ring, or send us an email to discuss when you'd like to collect your takeaway kit.
Pop into the studio to choose the pottery you'd like.
Take home your pottery and our party box filled with everything you need to decorate your pieces.
Return your painted items along with your takeaway kit.
Collect your glazed and fired party pieces to distribute to your guests a week later.

Grown Up's Parties

Throw yourself a birthday party that's both fun and creative or celebrate a special occasion like a hen do or baby shower in style.

Gather your friends and family and celebrate your special day with a creative and fun activity! You can enjoy a relaxed and social atmosphere while painting beautiful works of art. We'll be here to guide you step by step, whether you're an experienced artist or a beginner looking to explore your creative side, and provide all the materials you need to create a unique pottery piece that you can take home and treasure forever.

How does a Grown Up's party work?

Decided on a date
Chose from a start time of 10am, 12pm & 2pm. We are also open for grown up parties on select Thursday evenings at 7pm
Your party will last 2 hours.
Maximum party guests is 12 and the party will take place during studio opening hours.
Guests can either pay for their own pieces on the day or you can set a budget if you want to treat them.
Arrive 5 mins before your chosen time on the day of your party.
We help your guests choose a piece of pottery to paint.
We explain how to paint your pieces.
If you'd like to bring a cake & drinks with you, you can have them at your table while you paint. You can also choose to purchase drinks and cake from Baytree's on site coffee shop to have in the studio.
Collect your glazed and fired party pieces to distribute to your guests a week later or you can ask them to pop in to the studio to collect their own

Can we hire the studio for a private party?

Yes! For a party of between 12 and 60 guests you an have sole use of the studio.

You get the studio for 3 hours giving you time to set up any decorations before your party starts.
Your welcome to bring food & drink to enjoy while you paint
Your party will last 2 hours.
There is a hire fee of £95 and then you simply pay for the pottery you and your guests choose on the day.
We take a £30 deposit at the time of booking.
Studio hire is from 6.30 - 9.30pm, and parties start at 7pm.
